Terms of Service
Effective October 17, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Lighthouse, the internal workspace operated by Sapelo AI, Inc. (“Sapelo”, “we”, “us”), on the web, iOS and macOS. By signing in you agree to them. If you work with Sapelo under a separate agreement, such as an employment, contractor or internship agreement, that agreement also applies and controls where the two conflict.
Who may use Lighthouse
Access is by invitation, or through a company email domain Sapelo has approved. You must be at least 16 and use an account that is your own. What you can see and do depends on the role and permissions Sapelo gives you, and Sapelo may change or remove them at any time.
Your account
Keep your sign-in methods secure and do not share them. Tell us at alex@sapeloai.com right away if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access data, projects or channels you have not been given access to, or try to get around permissions;
- copy, export or share Sapelo’s confidential information outside the work you are asked to do;
- upload anything unlawful, malicious, or that you do not have the right to share;
- harass anyone, or misrepresent yourself when contacting people on Sapelo’s behalf;
- send spam or outreach that breaks anti-spam, privacy or platform rules (including LinkedIn’s);
- interfere with, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
Confidentiality and ownership
Everything in Lighthouse — documents, messages, leads, customer and prospect information, code, plans and analytics — is Sapelo’s confidential information. Work you create in Lighthouse for Sapelo belongs to Sapelo, as set out in your agreement with us. Your obligation to keep Sapelo’s information confidential continues after your access ends.
The Lighthouse agent
Lighthouse includes an AI agent. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important before relying on it. Actions the agent proposes that change data or reach other people ask for your confirmation first, and you are responsible for the actions you confirm.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Ending access
Sapelo may suspend or end your access at any time, including when your work with Sapelo ends or if you break these terms. When access ends, you must stop using Lighthouse and keep no copies of Sapelo’s information.
Disclaimers and liability
Lighthouse is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Sapelo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Lighthouse.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for meaningful changes, tell you in Lighthouse. Continuing to use it after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
